Hello New York!

I made it to New York safely! As I was packing my luggage, I worried the TSA might mistake all those electronic components, wires, and foil-wrapped-blocks (batteries) with something more nefarious. To hedge my bets, I put one prototype unit in my check-in luggage and put the other unit in my carry-on. Fortunately, I encountered no problems, and all my stuff arrived safely. Tomorrow, some laser-cut pieces (including schwag!) I ordered from Ponoko should arrive as well (incidentally, they deserve a shout-out for rushing my order to make sure it got here on time).

Alas, there is so much yet to do. Tomorrow morning, I’m hoping to head over to the Hall of Science to see where my table would be, and hopefully that’ll give me an idea of what else I need for my “booth”. I still need to finish editing my video so that I can get the Kickstarter campaign going… I actually started working on the video several days ago, but didn’t like the footage I’d shot a while back, so I ended up shooting more footage yesterday while I was up on my property. I started editing in the plane (until I ran out of power), but it’s maybe half done. Ack!
